The NORTHERN PRIESTESS Path
A 9-week Gythja and Blótkona Initiation NOVEMBER 1st, 2025 (5pm UK)
There is a fire that has never gone out.
It’s the fire that pulses through the land, that rises from beneath burial mounds and stone circles, that stirs when the wind speaks through ancient trees.
It’s the breath of the old Gods and the memory of women who once stood at the sacred centre of life: carrying the rites that held community, cosmos, and soul together.
That fire lives in you.
The NORTHERN PRIESTESS Path, is a 9-week initiation — a return to the sacred role once held by the Gythja and Blótkona of the Northern tribes.
This is a path of devotion, remembrance, and power rooted in blood, land, and living memory.
As a Northern Priestess, you step into a role older than man-made temples.
You become the one who blesses the hearth, speaks the oaths, anoints thresholds, and tends the flame: within yourself, and for your people.
You walk in rhythm with the turning of the year, attuning to the seasons, and communing with otherworldly spirits.
The Northern Priestess path is wholesome, cyclical, devotional work.
Work that serves the land.
Work that answers the call of the Gods.
Work that ensures our ancestral thread is not broken or forgotten, but strengthened.
You may not have grown up knowing this language, but your soul remembers.
You may not have seen women lead rites in your family line, but the voice of your foremothers still sings in your blood.
You are here to reclaim, revive and innovate our sacred rites.
To become a bridge between past and future, earth and spirit, body and divinity.
This training is an invitation for you to step forward as a keeper of living tradition.
What you will learn
-
Veil Keeper (November 1)
Circle Casting & Energy Boundaries
Learn to call upon the ancient ways of boundary-setting. You will discover how to cast a powerful circle, anchor a healing field, and protect both yourself and others during spiritual work. This week also teaches you to work with ancestral talismans and protective symbols so you may weave unseen guardians into your rites. Every priestess must know how to veil and reveal power, how to open the way to the unseen and how to close it again with authority. -
Hearth of the Gods (November 8)
Altar Building, Deity Connection & Geis
Step onto your path by building a living altar: your hearthfire of devotion. You will learn how to open sacred dialogue with the Gods, discover your patron deity, and make your sacred geis (a vow or destiny-mark that binds you to the divine). Here devotion begins, and the Gods begin to speak. You will learn how your deity channel reveals the unique way you priestess. -
Sacred Rites ((November 15)
Blót & Sumbel Ceremonies
Enter the heart of Northern tradition. You will learn to craft and lead the rites of our people: blót (sacred offering) and sumbel (oath and blessing rite). We will study the structure of ritual, old Norse prayers and invocations, and the use of traditional tools. These are invaluable not only for your personal practice but also for teaching your children or leading community ceremonies. -
Solar Cross & Festivals (November 22)
Seasonal Rites & Ritual Calendar
Here you will weave yourself into the rhythm of the Northern year. Learn the solar festivals, lunar rites, and seasonal initiations of Midgard. We will explore how to honour the turning of the Wheel that binds together Gods, land, and tribe. Walking in rhythm with the festivals awakens your magical consciousness and leads you through a living cycle of initiation, rooting you into the language of nature. -
Elemental Priestess (November 29)
Purification Rites & Elemental Magic
In this module, you will study historical purification rites of our ancestors: cleansings with water, smoke, fire, and song. You will then learn how to adapt and create your own purification rituals to prepare yourself and others for sacred work. We will also uncover your elemental affinities, the forces of earth, air, fire, and water that empower your magic and healing. Sacred plant allies of the North will be introduced here, deepening your bond with the living green kin of our ancestors. -
Weaver of Wyrd (December 6)
Oracular Arts & Spirit Vision
Step into the mantle of the seeress. You will explore historical accounts of the witches and volur who read bird-flight, shaped dreams, cast runes, and spoke the will of the Gods. You will begin training in the arts of divination and oracular vision, opening your sight into the woven tapestry of wyrd. Their stories and methods pave the way for your own gifts to emerge, guiding you to the priestess role your soul is most called toward. -
Freya's Red-Gold (December 13)
Feminine Rites & Menstrual Magic
Reclaim the body as temple, as you enter the mysteries of the blood and the womb. This week we journey with Freya: Goddess of feminine magic and sovereignty, as she shows us how to awaken erotic power and blood-wisdom. You will learn menstrual magic, womb rites, and feminine sovereignty practices that connect you to the living cycles of life and death. Freya’s red-gold mysteries are the fire of the blood-witch, the feminine current that fuels all true Seidr. -
Land Guardian (December 20)
Sacred Sites & Landvaettir
A priestess is rooted into the medicine of the land. You will learn how to approach sacred sites with reverence, honour the landvaettir (spirits of place), and open pathways to establish your own place of power. Whether in wild nature or your own garden, you will discover how to commune with the living land and become its guardian. This is where your work as healer and priestess grounds into the world. -
The Northern Priestess (December 27)
Finally, we weave together all the threads into the living tapestry of the priestess path. Here you will discover the many roles a Northern Priestess may embody today as a ceremonialist, healer, teacher, and feminine leader. We will explore how to root these ancient skills into modern life: tending your home and hearth as sacred space, guiding kindred gatherings, and even shaping a sustainable livelihood in the online realm. This is where devotion transforms into vocation.
Each class is a merging of in-depth lecture and guided practice, ensuring you not only learn but also embody the ways of the Northern Priestess. We will walk the line between historical accuracy and living tradition, grounding the ancient rites in a form you can wield with confidence and power today.
You will receive my personal “spirit calendar” kennings, revealing the path of initiation for every priestess committed to her spiritual evolution. It is a map of power and transformation, guiding you through the turning of the seasons in a way that awakens magical consciousness, deepens your connection to the Otherworlds and anchors you in the tides of land and spirit in the most natural way possible.
I will also share my personal Yggdrasil Method: a ritual framework crafted to draw you out of the mind and into the embodied, intuitive wisdom of the soul. This is the foundation upon which every ritual, meditation, and spiritual working should start from, along with advanced techniques to weave greater megin (power) into every moment of devotion, so your rites land with precision and potency.
This is knowledge you will not find in books, only through direct transmission from one priestess to another.
A 9-week initiation and return to the sacred role once held by the Gythja and Blótkona of the Northern tribes.
When you pour the mead, the land replies.
When you lift the horn, the soul of our people stirs awake.
You’re inspired by Veleda’s vision, hear Albruna’s song of the wild, carry Gambara’s call to lead, and guard Waluburg’s sacred ways.
You stand beside Ganna, whose words could guide kings, and draw power from the Halirunae, rune-wise witches who shaped destiny.
All their legacies converge in you.

The 9-month SEIDR Practitioner Training contains everything in this course, but goes much deeper, immersing you in the magical practices and shamanic tradition of Seidr. SPT is by rune vetting only, as it works with powerful magic that must be safeguarded, and ultimately, Freya has the final say on who enters.
The Northern Priestess course is different. There is no vetting, because I believe this path is the birthright of every woman of Northern ancestry. These rites and wisdom were once held equally by the husfreya (the woman of the home) and the priestess. This is knowledge meant to be lived by all women of Northern descent, whether privately at home or as a professional priestess.

Through my own journey as a Seidkona and priestess of the Northern Tradition, I have come to deeply understand the power and wisdom that resides within every woman, especially those of Northern European descent. For years, I walked this path alone, uncovering layers of ancestral magic, connecting to the land, and honing my gifts in the sacred practice of Seidr. What I found along the way was the deep, untapped power, a rich heritage that transcended time, and a connection to the divine that was both ancient and immediate.
Through this journey, I realised that many women feel the same pull but don’t know where to begin. I created this course as a gateway — a way to share the wisdom I have gained and provide a clear starting point for those who are ready to awaken their inner magic and step onto the Northern Priestess Path. This course is the culmination of my own journey and understanding, an invitation to dive deeper into the ancestral wisdom and powerful magic that lies dormant within you.
I know how powerful this journey can be, and I want to offer it to you — so you can awaken the Northern Priestess within and step into your own purpose, wisdom and destiny.

The Northern Priestess Path course provides a clear and structured entry point into the sacred traditions of the North. You will gain both historical understanding and practical tools that allow you to channel your gifts with confidence, represent your lineage and people, and align your work with the living cycles of nature. Whether you choose to priestess within your home, guide your community, or step into public visibility, this training equips you to hold sacred space with integrity and power.
Every graduate of this path will also have the opportunity to join me in leading rituals at public blóts alongside other dedicated priestesses.
