There are many rituals within our pre-christian ancestral ways, yet there is one that does everything.

Sumble has become that rite for me.

I perform Sumble throughout the year, at most sacred blóts and “Wheel of the Year” festivals, during seasonal thresholds, at moments of deep transition, and also simply when I wish to sit in communion with the Gods, the ancestors, and the land spirits. It is my go-to ritual, again and again, because it always delivers.

This is THE ritual to rule them all.

It is safe, ancient, and can be done at any age, alone or in community, in the home or on the land.

And while it appears simple on the surface, the forces moving beneath it are vast. The depth of what is happening cannot be fully understood intellectually — it is something you only truly grasp once you experience it.

I have led Sumble rites with groups of students, in intimate 1:1 settings, and outdoors on sacred land. I have guided people who already walk spiritual paths, and people who would not consider themselves “spiritual” at all. And every single time, people leave feeling grounded, connected, softened, and often deeply moved. Some feel emotional and receive great healing from this remembrance — from being touched by something rooted, familiar, and profoundly human.

This ritual meets people where they are.
